Our Standard Membership Package is our most popular choice for pet owners. Not only does it include preventative care such as vaccinations, parasite treatment and an annual health check, it also grants access to inclusive care for any health condition - whether this involves consultations, diagnostics or surgeries. There are no excesses, limits or breed / age related exclusions.

 

You are able to join as a Standard Member and use any veterinary practice in the UK, though please note conditions which exist at the time of joining (or within 28 days thereof) will not be covered for at least year one and reimbursements are issued in the form of a grant award.

You are about to start the process to become a Standard Member of Perfect Pet WOOF Club:

 

  1. By proceeding with your purchase, you confirm your acknowledgement and agreement to our terms of Membership, which can be read here: https://www.perfectpetclub.co.uk/perfect-pet-club-terms-conditions
  2. If you have multiple pets, please add each pet as a separate transaction to your shopping basket.
  3. Your first payment will include your Perfect Pet Club joining fee (this is a one off payment, regardless of how many years you stay with us) which is double the price of your normal monthly instalment. 
  4. Taking your joining fee into account, subsequent payments will be half the price of your first payment, taken on the same date each month from the date you join. These remaining 11 payments can be set up on Standing Order with your bank or on a PayPal subscription.
  5. By joining you are agreeing to commit to a 12 month payment schedule, and must keep up with the payments to retain your Membership and all included benefits.
  6. A 28 day exemption period applies to all new Members.
  7. We will be in touch within 72 working hours (Monday to Friday only) of your enrolment to discuss your chosen package, register your pet(s) and arrange your welcome appointment. You will be asked to provide documents to allow us to assess your application for grant award and any pre-existing conditions your pet has. If you do not provide these within 14 days of joining, any conditions which exist at the time of joining will not be covered at all; and the maximum reimbursement you will receive for veterinary care relating to any health condition is 60%, unless you are using our Health & Wellness Centre where care is inclusive for conditions which do not exist at the time of joining.
  8. Your welcome pack will be available to collect at your first appointment if you use our centre. If you are a distant Member and would like this posted, a £2.50 postal fee will apply.
  9. The outcome of your grant application and pre-existing conditions assessment will be sent via email within 7 days of receipt.

Your WOOF Club Health & Wellness Standard membership will entitle your dog to the following at any RCVS registered veterinary practice, once your 28 day exemption period has lapsed:

  • Regular flea and worm treatment
  • Annual health, wellness and dental check with routine vaccinations​
  • Dental health products
  • Neutering
  • 24/7 Consultations for genuine health concerns
  • 24/7 Pet health & wellness advice (call 0330 043 4550 and select option 5)
  • Complete veterinary treatment for any genuine health condition
  • Dentistry (as a result of accident or illness only)
  • Access to specialist advice from pet industry professionals
  • Advertising to help find lost or stolen pets (if your pet strays or is suspected as stolen, please notify us and we will share a campaign on our social media)
  • Invitation to attend our annual event

 

What Our Grants Cover

 

  • Up to 80% of the costs relating to the diagnosis and / or management of any health condition which does not exist at the time of joining or within the 28 day exemption period

 

What Our Grants Do Not Cover

 

  • Veterinary costs incurred within 28 days from the date of joining
  • Travel expenses to our Centre or veterinary practice of your own choosing
  • Conditions which exist at the time of joining, or within the 28 day exemption period
  • Elective vaccinations such as Kennel Cough or Rabies
  • Microchipping
  • Primary vaccination courses or restarted courses in the event of forgetfulness
  • Treatments or procedures relating to conditions which could have been prevented e.g. ingestion of foreign objects or substances
  • Injuries sustained by working dogs in training, sport or competition
  • Costs Relating to Breeding
  • Holiday Boarding / Pet Care Services
  • Grooming
  • Holiday Cancellation Cover
  • Loss of Use / Death
  • Rewards for the finder if your pet is lost or stolen
  • Quarantine Costs
  • Loss of Pet Passport / Travel Certification

 

Eligibility

 

  • If you are on a low income, you will be eligible to be awarded up to 80% of the total cost. 
  • If you are not considered to be on a low income, you will be eligible to receive up to 60% of the total cost.
  • In exceptional circumstances, you may be able to apply for a further grant to cover the remainder of the invoice.

Monthly Payment Breakdown

 

Your £42.00 monthly payment is broken down and allocated as follows:

 

£ 13.14 Flea and Worming Treatment (please note, this is an average across all weights of dog)

£   4.17 Annual Health, Wellness & Dental Check to include DHP and / or Lepto 4 vaccinations

£  3.67 Contribution to the running of our veterinary practice and provision of inclusive healthcare for your dog

£12.50 Contribution to our Member Community Fund and Emergency Care Fund

£   1.52 Card Transaction Fee

£  7.00 VAT

 

Your contributions to our Member Community Fund and Emergency Care Fund:

 

Please be aware that these accumulative Funds exist to help all Members and are not solely for your own pet(s) care. The Funds should be considered a safety net, not insurance.
